StationForge ("we", "us") operates a SaaS platform for fire departments. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it.
Data We Collect:
- Name, email address, and department affiliation provided during account creation
- Department operational data (member records, documents, training records, maintenance records) entered by your department
- Application activity logs (actions you take in the application, for audit purposes)
- Technical logs (error reports sent to Sentry for debugging)
How Data Is Stored:
- Department data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase on US-based servers
- Uploaded files are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage on US-based infrastructure
- All data is encrypted at rest and in transit
How Data Is Used:
- Solely to operate the StationForge service for your department
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties for any commercial purpose
- Error monitoring data (Sentry) is used only to fix bugs
Data Retention:
- Department data is retained while your account is active
- Upon account closure, department data is deleted within 30 days upon written request
- Audit logs may be retained for up to 7 years as required for fire department compliance purposes
Third Parties with Access:
- Supabase (database hosting — US)
- Cloudflare (file storage — US)
- Resend (email delivery — processes email addresses only)
- Sentry (error monitoring — processes error stack traces only)
